What’s Covered Under the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP)?
The Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) offers coverage for emergency dental care to address urgent conditions such as pain, infection, or trauma. Services covered under the IFHP include:
General & Emergency Dental Examinations: Assessment of urgent dental issues
Diagnostic X-rays: To identify the cause of dental problems
Tooth Extractions: For severely damaged or infected teeth, including wisdom teeth extraction
Pain Management: Treatments for pain control, trauma, and caries
Basic Restorative Services: To repair damaged teeth
Antibiotic Prescriptions: For dental infections
Oral Surgery: Emergency surgical extractions
Prosthetics: Reline and fabrication of new and old dentures
Dental Services for Children: Essential dental care for dependents of IFHP beneficiaries

Do You Qualify for the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP)?
The Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) provides coverage for the following eligible groups:
Resettled Refugees: Individuals with government or private sponsorship
Protected Persons: Those recognized as persons in need of protection
Refugee Claimants: Individuals awaiting a decision on their refugee status
Victims of Human Trafficking: Individuals holding a temporary resident permit
Detainees: Those under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
Dependents: Family members of the above groups, including children
To verify your eligibility, please bring your IFHP certificate along with a valid government-issued ID to your appointment. Our team is here to assist you throughout the process.
